‘Welcome to Beaver Book Search’

We provide a reliable and efficient service to locate the books you require. The service is best suited to finding UK publications. Although success cannot be guaranteed, our advertising reaches dealers, shops, and suppliers worldwide. Searches operate on a no-obligation to buy basis, and there is no initial cost incurred by many of our customers.
 

Three types of search are available:
  • Regular Search
    For up to 5 titles we will advertise free of charge for a maximum of 1 month. Additional titles are charged at £1.00 each.     If necessary an Internet search will also be carried out.

  • Extended Search
    For £1.50 per title we will advertise over a 4-month period using the same channels as the Regular search.

  • Targeted (Rapid) Search
    By contacting specialist dealers directly we offer the possibility of finding books within 5-10 days. For this service we charge £5.00 per category (up to 5 titles, additional titles £1.00 each) and must have a good description of subject matter. Regular search is included for each title.

A. Your name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address.

 
B. The details of the books you are trying to find:
  1. Author and title
  2. Details of any special requirements such as particular edition or condition, e.g. some collectors will only consider hardback first editions in fine condition whereas many customers are happy to obtain a used paperback to read!
  3. Subject matter...The more accurately we can catalogue your requirements the more chance there is of satisfying them.
  4. Type of search [Regular/Extended/Internet/Targeted]
  5. ISBN if known
 

C. Payment if appropriate. We can accept payment by Visa/Mastercard/Switch, Sterling cheque (payable to 'Beaver Booksearch'), international money order, UK postal order or UK postage stamps.

 

And then?
We will get in touch with you when the search is complete, either offering your book[s] or reminding you what other steps we can take should you wish to continue the search. Remember there is no obligation to buy and no hidden charges.
